HiJab sTyLe;)

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

yea i suppose on desis it would look ridiculous. most turkish people wear it like that and trust me they look gorgeous  everyone has a taste of their own so chillax

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

I am 'chillaxed'. Nothing wrong with wanting to know what we're supposed to be admiring is there?

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

hey hey... they wouldn't look THAT bad... jeeez guys us desis arent that ugly. i think they would like fine

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

i think she's talking about the way they are wearing their hijabs. there's quite a few ways, actually there's plenty of ways people wear their hijabs. but these are just some of them. designs are not bad either, but then again to each their own i suppose

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

thnx for sharin

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

some of the styles are pretty! I am not a big fan of when you can see a big bump on the back of your head.

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

so wut do u do with ur hair? especially when they’re long

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

yea…i kno its hard to get rid of the bump…

but at least its covered…and everyone know’s that its hair under there…not a lot u can do i guess :S

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

nah....she's muslim....I know this but I lost her website address so can't post the ref.

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

All i have to say is DAMN! A HoTT CHCKa!

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

LOL! OH cmon, a bump in the back of the head is better than seeing bumps…ahh…elsewhere (well from the proper-hijab-standpoint) :pagli:

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

yea..the scarfs r nice..BUT somehow i feel the basic concept of wearing a hijaab is lost

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

Depend karta, some ppl think anything less than a abaya/jilbab or any other color than black is not proper hijab. Then those who think wearing all tight clothes, makeup, everything, just slapping a scarf on top is hijab too...its up to the grlz themselves to find the proper balance

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

hahaah, when i went to pakistan, i wanted to wear an abaya and hijab while going out since i didn't like to get stared at. so when i landed, i basically had no shalwar kamiz with me cuz last i was there was as a kid so i had outgrown all my clothes. while i was there, giving clothes to the tailor and waiting for them to get stitched, i used to wear pants with a kurti or a long shirt and wear a dupatta. so whenever i would wear an abaya, my weird aunts there would call me a hypocrite since i had JEANS and a long shirt under it. it was like, "yeah she has JEANS under the abaya.. how weird.."
i was like ummm.. since when does hijab have to do anything with jeans under it??? i am not wearing a mini skirt or a halter under it, am i? and even if i am, am i not covered with an abaya regardless? so yeah, i think concept of hijab/abaya/burqa is so distorted in pakistan.

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

^ thats really retarded. Supposedly if u dont wear 4 layers of tank tops and thermals and whatnot, ur nangi

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

They are presented so well with the outfits..like perfect accessory to the outfit:)...the model is so beautiful too

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

Making yourself less prominent is part of hijab.....it can't be done while modelling.

Re: HiJab sTyLe;)

I was feeling the same when I viewed the pics posted... hijab isn't just about getting enough material for a Muslim women to cover her hair... it is extended (but not limited) to the way she covers up the rest of her body as well... which in one or two of the pics seems unacceptable.

lol, i know EXACTLY what u mean! I personally dont like the look of having 5cm of shalwar poking out of the bottom of my abaya... thats why i'd always wear jeans or pants underneath and everybody would make such a deal out of it!
