Plus, like most muslims, you judge. Don't worry your head about others. Worry about your own sins.
That's the problem because we as Muslims have to accept All of Islam and there is no such thing as being a part time muslim.
Allah says:
O you who believe! Enter perfectly in Islam (by obeying all the rules and regulations of the Islamic religion) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily! He is to you a plain enemy. [2:208]
We can't pick and choose what we like, instead we have to take All of Islam as it is and accept it.
Also, it's not appropriate to just point out mistakes being made by Muslims but rather a better approach would be to correct them. If we constantly dwell on how bad our fellow Muslims are then we will eventually start thinking that the Muslims in general are going downhill.
The other thing is that we have to worry about others, we have to try to do something with our actions, if not that then from our words and if not then feel it in our hearts. Because it is the duty of a muslim to enjoin good and forbid evil.
assalaam alaikum everyone,
u people there try to have paitence coz Allah is with the people who are paitent.MEENE IF U SAY THAT THE GIRLS AT SOMEPLACES DONT WEAR HIJAB BUT TRY TO EAT HALLAL .I GUESS IT IS GOOD THAT ATLEAST THEY R DIONG SOMETHING GUD AND MIGHTY BE COZ OF THIS THE GET TAUFIQ TO WEAR A HIJAB COZ EVERYTHING GUD DEED WE DO IS A GIFT OF ALLAH GIVEN TO US .U WAERING A HIJAB IS ALSO A GIFT OF GOOD DEED TO U FROM ALLAH SO U SHUOLDT SAY THEY R BAD COZ UR WORK IS TO STOP THEM (AMARBIN MAROF AUR NAHIN ANIL MUNKAR)AFTER THAT U WOULD BE ASKED ABOUT THERE DEED AS ALLAH IS ALL KNOWING.ITS NICE THAT U CARE SO MUCH ABOUT OUR UMMAH BUT TRY TO BE A LITTLE POLITE AND CARE EQUALLY ABOUT URSELF AND OUR UMMAH COZ IN THE WAY OF HELPING OTHERES U SHOULD COMMIT A SIN OF HURTING ANYBODIES FEELING.
ITS IN ONE OF THE HADIS THAT IF WE SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT SOMBODY THEN U WOULD NEVER DIE WITHOUT COMMITING THE SAME SIN U WERE TELLLING ABUT THEM .THAT MEANS IF U SEE SOMONE DOING A SIN TELL THEM IN UR POLITEST MANEER THEN TELLING OTHERS ABOUT THEIR SIN.AND LEAVE THE ALSE TO ALLAH COZ UR WORK IS JUST TO TELL ,THE PERSON AGREEING TO IT AND DONING IT IS IN ALLAH`S HAND.
As you found my mistakes, would you mind changing them please? So what should it be like? I want to learn and I would be very appreciated that. So far I only changed once from correct to "correction".
Okay, first off, the whole hijab debate is a big one, and there are pretty good arguments for not having to wear a hijab. Likewise, there are also good arguments for wearing a hijab. And hijab means much more than a headscarf.
Secondly, don’t come on the forum and criticize others for pointing out a ghalati in someone’s behavior/attitutde/words. Because you’re doing the same thing, so I really don’t know what your point is.
Third, if one goes to hell for breaking one rule in Islam, then group hug because we’re all going to burn.

hey ur so right sher;
but if one isnt accepting 'All of Islam' does not mean one has to 'reject all of Islam'!
if we're part time; that could be a starting point; and we could strive to get better!

as long as you realize that you need to get better at your practise of Islam then it's fine
but if one thinks that there is no need to get better then that in itself is a lack of Imaan
the problem i have is with "moderate islam", because we as mankind do not have the authority to make changes to Islam only Allah does and if we start doing this moderation then some changes can fall under the category of shirk
i've noticed this moderation thing comes in when people don't like something in Islam and want to change it for the sake of their lifestyle
it should be the other way around that we need to change our lifestyles for the sake of Islam
the fact is that Allah is testing us, and if we go ahead with changing Islam then we have failed the test
"this life is just a test from Allah"
Very True....

I completely agree with you. In the sense that you cant just choose to abide by the rule of eating halal food and then not wear the hijab. ok, ya, i understand that some limatations may keep you from practising Islam 100%, but then Alllah the Almighty knows best. but then again we are living in the 21st centaury, our limitations are even limited. In the sense that why should we not wear a hijab (will people ridicule us, will people label us as terrorists?), if thats an excuse thats quite pathetic. Anyways what i really want to reiterate is that the Holy Quran says and this is also mentioned by numerous people on gs ( ironically they also disagree with my thread) that:
"Either Iman has entered your heart or it has not. Nothing in between."
Then sister, in the spirit of giving naseesah, I strongly suggest that you work on your anger problem, the observance of proper hijab (referring to a male non-mahrem as "honey"), and jihad with your nafs. In addition, I don't believe that our Prophet (pbuh) or sahabah would have said that they were "pissed off" by others sins. Instead, things would have been pointed out in a constructive nature.
In short, why not work on your own shortcomings and sinful nature before pointing out those of others.
thanks for pointing that out, but its not my mind that is in the gutter, becuase i certainly did not mean it in that context that unfortunately you assume
In short, why not work on your own shortcomings and sinful nature before pointing out those of others.
One of the excuses people use to not do dawaah, which is unacceptable. Its not enough to point out the sins of others to the ones doing them, you need to talk to them, counsel them.
