This is just the latest example of the bankruptcy of Islamist ideology. At least Marxist nations, despite Marxism being another failed universalist ideology that promised utopia, made an attempt to deal with real problems. Islamists spend much of their time regulating hair, shalwar/trouser length, kites, football (in Somalia you can die for watching the World Cup, in Saudi Arabia a molvi has issued shariah regulations for playing football), music, etc.
Humor played a minor role in the discrediting of Communism (see the Hammer and Tickle book and movie) and perhaps it will play the same role with Islamism. Well, that is if you are allowed to laugh. Some molvis believe laughing out loud should be banned.

You are comparing that with requiring hijab for mannequins? The government of Iran has deep economic problems yet is making regulations regarding mannequins?
The shirt regulation makes sense but I never understood the requirement for shoes.
Islam allergy? I live with Muslims lol. Besides, what do mannequins have to do with Islam? Islam is silent on mannequins and it is worth noting that it took 30 years for the Islamist government in Iran to come up with this regulation.
