My friends wedding this weekend.
My mendhi outfit is pink and green. The churidaar is green, dupatta is net. The dress has gold kaam.
The outfit for the wedding is royal blue, with silver kaam on the bodice only.
I am a new hijabi so this will be the first wedding I’m attending as a hijabi.
I am unsure what colour hijab I should wear with each outfit.
Both dupattas are unsuitable to be used as a hijab as one is not wide enough, and the other is heavy net.
What colour is the mehendi shirt? Pink?
I'd also wear green for the mehendi and royal blue for the wedding. If you can find royal blue with silver studs or something, that would be perfect. Same for the mehendi: green with gold embroidery or studs would be nice :)
The hijab that is not wide enough, you can use that to layer your Hijab - that can be your top layer... Sometimes I layer with black and use the thinner fabric at the top - that way the hair is covered but I don't have to buy a new Hijab incase I don't have a matching one!
