Re: hii Gina pll help me,,?
first of all stop using soap on ur faceeee...my skin is exactly dried out at the same places u said
Re: hii Gina pll help me,,?
you are exfoliating too much..you should only do it once or twice a week.
Soap is harsh for the face, switch to cream cleansers.. reduce scrubbing to 2 times a week ( u still need to scrub it to remove the dead skin) after u wash u're face, pat-it dry with a tissue and apply Vitamin E cream..or any face cream with jojoba oil, almond oil or vitamin E.
Please don't use olive oil or any other oil on u're face! Browse thru the pages, i've given a detailed reply on how to do a home facial. Every skin-type is different so I wont be able to name any brands suitable for u're skin.
Re: hii Gina pll help me,,?
First: What type of a cleanser are you using?
You should use something SUPER gentle (I recommend Cetephil). Never - ever use soap.
Second: The above poster is correct - over exfoliating takes away your skins natural barriers and could be adding to your dryness issue. Limit yourself to exfoliating only once a week.
Third: You should have both a day time moisturizer and a night time cream. For a day time, try the Estee Lauder Anti-aging day lotion. Super moisturizing, with SPF and antioxidents. (Stay away from Clinique - there stuff isn't really very good). For a night time, try the Ceramide Night Cream from Elizabeth Arden.
Forth: If you wear foundation, try switching to a tinted moisturizer (Since you're super dry, you should wear this on top of current moisturizer).
Fifth: Apply a moisturizer within 2 minutes of washing your face to prevent dry out.
