I wish the PCB would organise a best of three or five twenty-20 contest against LB ( I think it was Some1 or Pidbull's suggestion and I second that). It would be great to see how our current shehzaday fare against these badshahs from Lahore. LB I am sure would give our current national team (an average team barring 3 or 4 star players) a hard time in a limited overs contest. Instead of sitting idly till June or arranging a boring series against a pathetic Bangladesh side (as is being rumoured) who recently got beaten black and blue by South Africa, that is what I would do. The public would certainly love to see the likes of Inzi, Azhar, Rana and Imran Nazir in action and the series would be a lot more absorbing and entertaining than a contest against a third-rate team.

LBs seem to be really enjoying and look happy
also they have the best team on paper with all their players recognized internationally so they are definite favorites, i think its a great marketing move by ICL...
nazir seems to be playing to get into the national team? (thats what I understood from his interview)

Asif, I completely agree...it would be much more interesting to see the current national side VS the lahore badshahs...I have a feeling lahore would beat the team :D

oh well...it ain't happenin...
