i am looking for a highlight powder, something like Mac’s MSF “by candlelight” or bobby brown’s “shimmer brick”. i have one in liquid form which is by smashbox. i sort of don’t like the liquid highlighters like smashbox’s glow, or mac’s strobe light, and benefit’s moon beam.
for reference, my skin is dark, Mac’s NC 42 is the foundation shade i use.
please suggest a good highlighter in powder form.
Mac are about to release a Blush which is more of a highlighter as part of the Mickey Contracter range called Gana. Wheres my fave highlighter ever, Nars Albatross is more white goldish this is warm gold and would perhaps be more suited,
Its been getting some good reviews on makeup blogs in america where its already been released.
Iv seen so many Makeup artists uses MSF - Soft n gentle...i dnno if its good for dark skin tones bdw im NC42 aswell but more on darker side...i jus bought it online n will give a review once i have a hand on it...:)
I went to see the soft and gentle at the Mac. The light in the store was so harsh that it looked more like glitter than soft glow. Please do review it once u get it.
Well mallu since I have the solution to all your life's problem I'll tell you what this is one is too. Its something you put on your cheek bones to give your skin a glowy look. Its used to contour the face along with contouring powder and bronzers
There ya go be happy :p
i to was looking for a highlighting powder, and went for Gana from Mac's Mickey & contour collection. I actually regret buying it as i personally think it does not show up for some reason on my skin. For reference I too am Mac NC42. I loved it when i swatched it on my finger but just not on my cheeks.
If i was you, maybe go to a department store and try out various different highlighting powders and see which one you like best.
I know that several people have said Macs skin mineral powder in gold deposit is quite nice too for that golden highlight.
