I don't think so, I suppose it depends where you are from, in the UK if you take no gap years you can have a Masters by 22 and a PHD by 24 (if you are accepted for PHD straight after Bachelors) I would not automactically assume someone was older if they had a masters.
Would men hesitate marrying and feel intimidated by a girl more educated than themselves?
I'm not a man but I don't think there is any absolute answer, some men will feel proud to have an educated wife, some will feel intimidated and I guess some wont care about the level of education at all.
