Its so nice when you are at work living your boring life and all of a sudden an old friend calls. You pick up your cell phone and you are shocked…
It was so nice to hear form him after such a long time..
high school.. :~)
all those memories of high school came back. Those hallways, labs, computer lab, 1st floor all the counselors and deans *grin, the SO office, the Art room, the piano room, the ceramic class,
2nd floor had the science lab, old library, lockers, bio class in the corner, physcis :(, then chemistry class, all the other class rooms, then mr. johnson had his class there, history department,
3rd floor was so much fun Ms. goldstein class, i remember doing a part of gertude in shakespeare’s play and i had a kalo husband - who was running after me in the entire class :pretty: he thought i was pretty as well - he was cute too - i think that was my first crush or was it second i dont know. Then there were more lockers and the room i was most scared from the pre cal course and that teacher’s face is so clear in my mind but i cant recall his name.. he use to go “kapeesh” everytime he would say something- i loved playing dumb in hsi class.. I hated maths and i know pre cal dumbo didnt know pre cal is common sense - if you knew he picked on you an di hated to explain numbers to the class…
vivian you jerk cause of you now i miss high school…
The funny thing about my school memories is recalling how stiff-lip british it was. We would call everyone but our closest friends by their surname, and never their first name. It was considered rude to call someone by their first name unless you knew them very well.
I don’t think Mr. Johnson teaches there any more…or does he? hmmmmmmmmm… for some reason I think he is goooooooooone Is he the one who moved to Francies Lewis HS?
I miss high school too…U know what I miss the most about our school Nia…The cafeteria. I used to go early so we (My friends n I) meet there n discuss all the exams or tests coming up ( for Mr. Mulligan’s class in particular, I used to read the book n give the summary to my friends cuz they never used to read the book). After last class we would all meet up infront of the Counselor’s room and leave together from there…awwwwwwww fun times…n lol Mr. Hannalen’s gym was quite fun too
awwwwwww man miss those times…
u kno i don think the *stiff-lip british *thing exists ne more, not unless u go to a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally posh uper class school,
it's only been 5 yrs since i left school, it hasnt changed much i shudnt think
well here...as you may have picked up, is a tad bit different. you wouldn't call someone by their last name else you knew them well, and they were your buddy. 'hey khan, how's it goin' man?' :D
and if you don't know someone then you use their first name - and that's considered polite..
