I overheard this guy telling this other guy, both friends of my hubby, that his wife is very high maintenance.
What do you think would qualify your spouse as high maintenance? Are you?

Some one who is difficult to please .... a lot of time has to be given to her, a lot has to be spent on her, a lot has to be said to her to satisfy her

I bet all women are high maintenance - whether it has emotional implications or monetary :) .... no wonder why we prefer our cars !

Naabigh is right. Basically she is demanding, unrelenting and uncomprising. She expects far more than she deserves and thinks the world of herself.
She is the type who wants a limo to pick her up because that is what she thinks she deserves for a ride to the grocery store.

Ok this has got me thinking…hmm!
I m not high maintenance emotionally as in i m def nt someone who wants attention at all times and nor would i overdramatize situations to gain attention. However when it comes to my lifestyle, i think i am somewhat high maintenance. I do have an expensive taste and i cost my parents quite a alot 
but hey they don’t complain :k:. Now i just hope i get married to a guy who wouldn’t complain either fingers crossed

My SO always jokes, along with my parents (who happen to be serious ), that I have a lot of nakhray and that I’m “high-maintenance”. What they mean is that I’m picky or have high-standards but that in no way means I expect a limo when going grocery shopping as someone up there said (plus, I’d pick a Lambo over a Limo anyway. Limos are sooooooo 90’s 
) or materialistic things. Given, I was the only girl and the oldest you tend to get spoiled but it’s not high-maintencance where it becomes a burden. It’s just the way I am and my fiance finds it hot. He says some guys, like himself, like a girl who is high-maintenance and is “moody” and has nakhray. Just works for some, I guess.
And I want to emphasize again, this kind of high-maintenance behavior isn’t asking for things, expecting expensive things or expecting anything, for that matter. No gold-digging kind of behavior either. It’s just some girls, even guys, tend to be hard to please or dont settle for anything less than what they like and there is nothing wrong with it as long they aren’t depending on other people (parents or significant others/spouses) to achieve it for them.

And yeah, being demanding or high-maintenance emotionally isn’t “high-maintenance”, it’s just being clingy.

Not every one have luxury of marrying pakistani girls.
In other culture "call girls" type girls are still girls. They still get married.
For those men thats all they got.. that where they pick up wives.

I think I'm not high maintenance when it comes to receiving gifts or just material matters. I am not demanding for things either. Not the sort who would make a face over how expensive or cheap a gift is, what the quality of it is, how much some one is spending on me or not, how much some one is giving me, not a brand freak either. Just pretty content with all that.
Probably high maintenance when it comes to time & attention. I am not some one who likes being alone or just boredom is annoying for me.
