Not to burst anyones bubble, but just thought I'd post this:
My friend did some research and this is what she found. She is a med student (Mash'Allah) and loves high-heels but wears mostly flats.
When wearing high heels, you become more prone to corns and callouses, toe nail issues, stess fractures, joint pains, hammertoes, shortening of the Achilles tendon, and more. It can also affect your posture and neuromas (Morton's Neuroma: a growth of nervous tissue usually between your third and fourth toes, usually caused by pressure or irritation).
Therefore, try to wear heels minimally and for very short periods of time, if you must wear them.
