I’m on Weight watchers these days and I find my day goes better if I actually plan out what I eat. I was doing that this morning and I was craving a cesear salad- so I looked up the nutri facts on www.getcosi.com
OMG guys! All the salads where 10 points and up!!! The freaking dressing for the cesear Salad was 9 WW points. So for 12 points I cna either have a cesear salad with no meat or I can have 3 slices of regular pizza!
Be wary my friends if you think having a salad is doing you justice, do check your nutrition facts first.
The grilled veggies and hummus sandwhich is 9 points and much more filling.
I think I’ll do that today.
You might also want to look into "salad spritzers", these are regular salad dressings that come in a spray bottle rather than a "pour-it-on" bottle. Amazing how much less you can consume calorie wise when you "spray it on" rather than pour. And the salads actually taste very nice that way, not drowned in the sauce.
I have had those - rather like those.
Lekin I was talking about the salads that you buy from places like
Au Bon Pain, Cosi and Panera.
I do try to ask for the dressing on the side lekin ladies its not just the dressing that is the problem. The actual contents of the salads are horrendoes too.
