yes they ask you up front to tick a box whether youre ismaili or non ismaili
if you knew all along that religion was a criterion, why is it hard to swallow now?

Re: Hidden organizational discrimination
Its in all places, some times you can feel, some time you can only guess, and some times you can not do both, and after years you will realise what happened ...
I lil example, they called you to UK, after 100 years of living there ... what will they do to your next generations, ever thought ? no ...
Its happening all over th eworld, sometimes they don't give you what you want, and some times they give you what you want, but in all cases they are the winner...
may be you will not understand me now ...

anyone can apply to this scholarship but when i got the forms on that i saw the box that asked what faith you belonged to. They ask everyone to apply, but their own 'hiden' criteria supports their particular groups. On top of that they promote plurism and refuse to believe its a faith based organization.

Re: Hidden organizational discrimination
one of those situations where one feels like sitting in a corner, and moan over how life isnt fair… sigh… sometimes one cant do much about the poop that falls to the bottom of the food chain, where ppl like us take what ever little is left over from the ones ‘above’ us,.. there wouldnt be sweet if there wasnt bitter, so I guess this is where you taste bitter… but inshallah soon you’ll taste the sweet part and it’ll give the greatest sensation ever… like walking into colours from a monochromic life…

You should always have a plan B, expect the unexpected and be prepared for all eventualities.
