Hidden files.

The windows in my laptop seem to be corrupt because there is no folder options folder in control panel.

I have a few hidden files, and unfortunately i cant recall the folder titles:bummer:

go to folder options from the control panel and check the “show hidden files”
all your hidden files will be visible.

install the freeware version of xplorer 2

and browse to the directory where the files are.

Browse through ‘Command Prompt’ and move files to new place and change attribute

Thanks Esix, but the dudd below you asked me to re install OS with the guarantee that files wont disappear from C.

did you try locating them via explorer’s address bar?

something C:\User.…\foldername..?

Hi there, try this

Star > All Programs > Accessories > Run

This will open a new window.

Enter the command “CONTROL FOLDERS” and press the return/enter key.

This should open the folders option menu.

Just go to File Manager/Explorer/TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/VIEW and select show hidden files.
