Two other names used in USA are Jasminum Sambac and Maid of Orleans.

Chamelee is Jasmine, but motia and chemelee are different flowers.

you are right but they are different in Indo Pak in Western world they are both called Jasmine. Some garden centers in USA will know it as Indian Jasmine. I had hard time finding one by explaining and one of the guy told me that it is called Indian Jasmine and this year I was able to get five plants and they are growing very fast and furious.

Almost all perfumes use Jasmine as the base ingredient!

Thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated!! My Great Gran in Pakistan has asked for a bottle of Chemelee perfume and I didn't want to dissapoint her. I just needed to find out what it was called in English so that I can get a bottle over here... Thanks for the help and I hope my Gran likes the perfume.. lol..!

I like the pakistani sweet Barfii. But I don't like to eat it as a whole but I heat it into microwave and when woh pigal jaati hai then I eat it. Thanks.

Chambaili is Jasmine. The flowers are white with one row of petals.

Motiya is offwhite, the flower has several rows of petals like a rose and its called something else in english starting with M. I'll have to find out the name for you.

I know most ppl will say its Maid of Orleans or Mograw but that has lesser petals and hence cant be motia.

Arabian jasmine (yes i love plants, lol)
here is the latin name as well which i have googled for you:

Arabian Jasmine (Jasminum sambac)
