One important point people have missed:

The anti-aircraft missile (which shot down the helicopter) named 'waad' gives a hint that the supply line of Hezbollah (most probably with Syria) is still alive. This missile is surely recently acquired, otherwise Hezbollah would have used it a long time ago.
Despite all the bombardment by Israel for weeks, targetting bridges & road-links to Syria, Israel has still been unable to disable Syrian-Hezbollah transportation links.

They are experienced war veterans. They've fought Israelis before, and have beaten them before. Moreover, this is southern Lebanon they are fighting in, not Israel. They have been residing/operating here since their formation. So, they know these lands better than anyone (including Israelis).

I am sure the guppies are not dancing the way the American sec of state ran dancing to the UN begging for a cease fire. The same ceasefire which was not going to take place till the 2 soldiers were released. I wonder why they are not clamouring for the release of those 2 soldiers. Tsk, Tsk.

I doubt there will be a ceasefire. It might last a few hours, maybe a day, maybe a couple of days. This is not over. Both sides want to kill each other. They will kill each other until they are done. At best, the Israelis may stop bombing Beirut, and Hizbullah will stop rocketing Israel. The ground war will continue until an International force comes.
