As for USA being Israel's pimp. USA only started supporting Israel after the 1973 War. USA does give lots of economic aid to Israel but if it were not for USA, Israel cannot maintain such a powerful Army to deter Invasions by the bloodthristy neighbours which surround Israel.
If it were not for USA, Egypt and Jordan would have not made peace treaties with Israel and many Arabs who want to destroy Israel have no realized that Israel can no longer be militarily destroyed.
USA by helping Israel survive onslaught after onslaught of vicious attacks by Arabs has shown to the Arabs that destroying Israel is no longer possible and the only path is peace.
Too bad, Syria, Iran and Hezbollah and Hamas still don't get it.

Since the Russians also managed to kill 3 Million Afghanis in their brutal indiscriminate War against the Afghans and the whole of the Afghans were united in this struggle, this negates your argument. In 3 years of fighting in Iraq, 100,000 Iraqis have been killed and of which nearly 90,000 have been killed by Insurgents and the others are either Insurgent dead.
In 6 years of fighting with Israel, 4,000 Palestinians have been killed and compare that to the 3 million afghans dying fighting the Russians or even the 40 Million Europeans that died fighting the Germans.

Hezbollah is a brutal terrorist organization who just like the PLO in Jordan have used Lebanon to wage a proxy war against Israel. They are fulfilling their own religious agenda without caring for the consequences for the lebanese people.
