hey
it has been really hard for me to make friends ever since i was a kid.
I dont know why?
i love making friends i want to have a lot of friends…but i dont know why i cant ?
people don’t seem to want to hold on to me as a friend.
i dont get it. I try to think of things within me but i cant figure it out.
According to me, i am nice, honest caring, a little quiet but i love my friends and i dearly care about them. And then i find out that they take me as an acquaintance.

I have the same problem, though I find it's mostly because a lot of the people I know don't have much in common with me.

i mean its not too hard for me to approach people..i can go up to them and talk to them..

I dunno, it depends - like if you meet up with them, how old you are (once people get married - not speaking for all - but most become introverted and very involved with family/work and have limited time for friends etc)

It also depends on how approachable you are to other people. etc. I know my problem is - lack of friends due to I am not that out-going - but thats how my parents have wanted it/brought up that way. Plus it can be hard to meet people with the same - social background etc - and even if you have varied social backgrounds - sometimes it hard to find common ground.

I think it's just a personality trait, some people are people-person, while some are not. It's doesn't mean you're not as good as them or lack something. I am a people-person, I make friends where ever I go, while my sister is 3 years older then me and barely has any friends. I don't know why because it's not that she is quite or shy

Also, if you act fake in front of people, they pick up on that and don't want to be around that so be your self :)

There is a girl in my uni...she had the same complaint. But to be honest, she's just really weird so I'm not suprised that she doesn't really have a lot of friends. Just sayin'

Have you considered that you maybe 'possessive' ...alot of ppl dont like that .. and they want space between them..if the case then , maybe you shud turn down a notch
