Im not married and i love cooking...

BUT if i didnt i guess my husband would learn, or if we were rich enough or lived in pakiland then get a cook.

Or i would have to learn!

my dad cooks well when my mum is working/ill my bro can make daal and chawal and boil an egg and he is 17 so i think they can cook yes

yeah your dad does it when your mom CAN'T do it. So what if a girl just never cooked?

I can live on cereal, crackers, coffee and fruit for days. I don't need to eat. Or cook

I already know how to cook... BUT IF I didn't know how to cook then I would learn quick sharpish - ASAP! If I was a bad cook and my Husband loved me then he wouldn't mind if the food was too salty, watery, dry, burnt or whatever. He wouldn't get annoyed/upset and he would let me learn my own way though trial and error.

But I do think, in this day and age when both partners work full-time that the cooking (and other household duties) should be a shared thing and not left to just one person. Afterall, isn't that what marriage is about, sharing, compromising and supporting each other...
