pakistani women cant carry western outfits the way goriz do. period
and program looks more like a mockup (usually we see rona dhona) but there everyone happy. 
they say in teh video that Miss Pakistan is representer of Pakistan. so if she wears this then its more like she is “trying” to adjust in westerner society rather than presenting Pakistani’z Identity.
this Pageant would had got more coverage if they had wore Pakistani Shalwar-kameez

They are wearing Lehenga, saari, gharara etc. Some of these outfits are pretty neat too

two very strange observations about this event.
It looks like a very uncharacteristc beauty pageant. Though on the other hand I like this aproach very much.
Firstly. These contestants are no models. They can’t walk like models. They appear to be very non-professional. ( in a good way)
Secondly, these ladies are not pencil thin… nor they have hour-glass figures. Some of the girls have plently of healthy mass on their bones. Which is again a good thing only because normally these so-called beauty pageants displays girls with perfect figures and discriminate against healthier girls.
I can not guess as where this event happend and what is the composition / entitelment of contestants or the winner may be. But this is certainly soomething new and intriguing for me
