hey every1. i need a big help here. my hubby is coming from us, so i want to cook sumthing special for him. wat do u guys put in alo samosa and kima samosa’ and how do u guys make it. how do u guys make tomato chutni or watever chutni. plz give me idea’s. thnks

I'm curious.....if your hubby is coming from US....so where do you live?
For samosay filling...
1) boil and mash potatoes. Finely chop one medium onion and mix onion with mashed potatoes. You can also add peas (mattar)
2) Add 1 tsp of chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1-2 teaspoons salt, finely chopped dhania, and coriander seeds (dhania seeds).
3) You can adjust the seasonings/masala according to your taste. Mix the masala well in the mashed potatoes.
4) Take some pastry sheets.....put a spoonful of filling...wrap sheet into triangle form, seal edges with a slurry of cornflour and water. And then fry until golden.

For an appetizer you can consider making
Chaat
Pakoray
Sandwiches.
And for a main course you can make biryani, korma, and a vegetable dish. For desert you can try rasmalai, or kheer, or cake.
Or just simply make his favorite dishes.

Nowadays most girls think going and finishing highschool is more important than learning to cook simple things.
When is husband is en route to home and hungry that when girls decide to learn how to cook.
If all a female wants to do is sit at home then 8th grade, Quran and cooking should be enough education...but thats a different thread.
Here we are going to talk about the science of samosa making. BTW its almost triangular in shape.

nlove, are u going to be making the samosa pastry urself? i made the mistake of making my samosay a day earlier and putting them in the fridge! rather than the freezer, and dont ask what happened next… my parents were eating kachoriyan rather than samose…
