Heroes is one of sickest show on TV…so many superpowers…Wish i had one aswell…

For me its a choice between the girls invincibility and the other girls ability to transform into anyone…
Definitely the one i wouldnt want is the psycho alter ego…

healing power’s not too bad. combine it with invisibility and that’s good combo

First off -- LOVE HEROES!!!!! Can't believe I have to wait till April 23 for the next episode! :)
I see a lot of people too Peter's power. Don't think I'd take that one personally, since it's clearly screwing with him internally, plus it would be dependent on there being other superpowered beings in proximity.
Just to clear things up on the new girl, Bennet's new partner that people have been referring to as a shapeshifter. She's not a shapeshifter, I'm pretty sure it's been clearly stated that she is able to cast illusions, make people see what she wants them to see, it's a mental ability. If you actually watch the profiles on the NBC Heroes website, DL has been classified as a shapeshifter.
I would definitely like Hiro's ability, although I feel like I'd end up blowing up the universe because I accidentally stepped on a bug in 200BC, lol.
I think it would be cool to be able to alter your density, become intangible, like DL has shown, so you can walk through walls and such, but then also be able to increase your density to become invulnerable.
Telekinesis would also be awesome but I think I'd get lazy ;).

my point exactly! you could potentially put sylar and peter in the same category, but it's obvious what that power is doing to them. one has turned into a psychotic murdered, while the other just might blow up a city.
It's interesting that they have categorized DL as a shape shifter. And the new girl does something to the enviroment around her...you can see that when she switches forms. That must take a lot of observation to pull something like that.

The official website that was quoted before it actually really good for little bits of information. Plus you can read the graphic novels inbetween. They're especially good when the show isn't on for a few weeks and you need a fix ;).
I originally thought DL was just like Kitty Pryde from the X-Men, i.e. He could just phase through things but then the profile says he's a shapeshifter. I did notice when he passes through something it's almost as if he's absorbed by it, like he's becoming the wall as oppose to just going through it, maybe he's able to somehow merge with anything or take on the properties of it. They really haven't explored much about this character and I'm interested to see what he's capable of.
I'm almost positive the new girl can cast illusions, aside from the fact that I think it's been stated somewhere, I feel like the special effect of a shapeshifter would look very different from what you see her do. She doesn't appear to phyiscally alter in anyway, it's like an image or hologram is covering her and it's suddenly removed, she's just making them see her however she wants.
