hero burgers is super awesome ... i love their burgers .... i haven't tried ruth chris but i've heard tons of good stuffa bout them ... kara mia i haven't tried yet but bamiyan is not so bad ... also if you wanna try chicken reshmi kabab kitchen cilck on thomas and winston churchill is pretty nice

The steaks at Kara Mia in sauga arent great at all...too thin and too dry.
I've heard Affy's is good.
Hero Burger is yum...hubby likes the big 8oz...i prefer the slim. their coleslaw is just nasty - avoid it.
the KFC in rexdale (27 and Albion) is also halal...but again, just the bucket.
I've heard that Swiss Chalet in Richmond Hill is also halal...but who wants to eat bland chicken?

We went to a Persian Restaurant a few weeks ago - it’s called Tanoor - on Yonge and Steeles. The food was really, really, really good!
I had what they call Chengeh (sounds like chenjah) kebab (like the barg kebab at Bamiyaan), 
to die for. The meet was so juicy and tender.
I don’t know that I cared for the ambience although it’s a proper sit down restaurant and definitely a few steps up from Bamiyaan. It was a late evening, so we left around 10pm, apparently we left right before the bellydancers were going to perform

We were supposed to go to Kara Mia's and a friend gave it such a bad review. Now I don't know who to believe since I've generally heard favourable reviews.
I've heard they have another location in Vaughan - is that true and if so - is that one better?

Hey, I would have stayed to see the Belly dancers. 
The Kara Mia location in Mississauga is nicer than the one in Vaughan, which is a lot smaller.
I went to Pamier Kabob on the weekend. I love that place so much. The food is great!

My wife and I like it; however, the best steak is at Affy's in Pickering.

It is an Italian buffet restaurant with a huge Tower of Pisa outside and having a theme of a castle. More than 300 food items but we can only eat seafood or pasta, salads and etc....

Sashlik Grill Restaurant (Richmond Hill) is Halal too....
I had great Chicken Fettuccine at Kara Mia in Vaughan...Agreed it's tiny and looks not at all welcoming but the food it good!
Bamiyaan has best kebobs :p

oh while we are at it....I love the sheeish touk dinner from *Madina Villa *(located in Vaughan Mills food court)

villa madina is actually alot of place ... its at square one as well ... all the workers there flirt with the girls and i guess eye ballin is the tip that they have set for themselves ... the shawerma is nto that gr8 and over priced

So I went to Ruth Cris at 77 City Centre Dr., Mississauga. You have to call them 24 hours in advance for Halal steaks.
I had a steak and two sides. It was good food but definitely over priced.
Steak was for $50 without sides. Sides were $9 each, plus taxes and plus Gratuity (Tip) ! I dont remember how much was the coke.
My opinion: Food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was also good.
Edited later: The steak was atleast 14 Oz minimum !!!

are u talking about Kabob Express!!!yeah its also very good:)i love their naan's better than bamiyan's:)
