Why cows, buffalo, goats etc get fattier and fattier by eating grass and grains? Why humans upon eating excessive carbohydrates become fattier? But Carnivorous animals like lions do not get fattier?

they get fat too, in zoos and as pets. even cats and dogs do.
you wouldnt find any animal - herbivore or carnivore in the wild that is "fat" without a reason like needing to hibernate (bears fatten up for winter) or travel in near starvation mode (camels and fat hump).

In the wild, there shouldn't be unnecessary fat animals. Livestock animals are fatter because they are bred that way and are kept fat. Domestic animals (pets) can be fat too because of inbreeding with stockier breeds or they are fed too much and too frequently.

haven't you seen sookhi huii gaayeN [thin cows]? i've seen tons of them roaming around on Indian streets. poor skinny cows!

charbivorous humans found in the plains of Punjab get fatter and fatter with consumption of every nihariful meal.

I thought Nihari was for Karachi people - Lahories live on "peray wali lassi"!
Anyway cows have a different organic chemistry and processes through whereby they convert those grasses and grains into muscles and fat whereas a human on live mainly on herbs and things like that become thin!

There is a famous nihari place inside either lahori gate or bhati gate. That sucker was cooked in so much of fat that they have to serve it in metal plates, and every ten minutes send the plates back so they can warm it on top of stove as the fat keeps hardening up.
