Re: herbal shampoos??

hie...
i use finnesse shampoo ...its for dry and coarse hairs....
u can try it as its a mild shampoo n vll not harm ur hairz... :)

Re: herbal shampoos??

for the hair fall, i would use a really mild shampoo like baby shampoo... you are unlikely to find anything milder.

for the dryness and split ends try some good conditioning treatments. this can be anything from a leave in conditioner, or a conditioner that you leave on for 15mins than rinse off, or even natural hot oil treatments. but just confine these things to the length of your hair and away from the scalp. i know some people say to oil both your scalp and hair but this may aggravate the hair fall problem, as you will have to use more shampoo to remove the oils from the scalp/roots and a lot of the ingredients in shampoo are the cause of the hair fall in the first place.

Re: herbal shampoos??

ummm…herbal essences is not a herbal shampoo its just the name “herbal essences” :cb:

and dont use it its not even a good one :bummer:

i used it 2 years ago and my hair used to fall like crazies:bummer: and they went so dry to

so i dont like it was not a good experience at all :bummer:

Re: herbal shampoos??

If your hair is dry (not damaged, you can tell the difference by it's elasticity), then get Aveda's Dry Remedy. Aveda only uses certified organic, natural products. So it's all herbal.

You will see an improvement of up to 63%.

Seriously.

Re: herbal shampoos??

baby shampoo is mild and will not strip your hair's oil. once a week, try using a clarifying shampoo so that the buildup in your hair is removed thoroughly. the main thing though is that when you're using shampoo, make sure to dilute it with a lot of water in a paper cup or something. using alot of shampoo is not good for your hair at all.

Re: herbal shampoos??

what kind a conditioner is best for dry ,deadended hairs, and also plz tell me conditioner that will help to reduce curl, and make silky hair

Re: herbal shampoos??

Aveda shampoos are awesome.

girleeeez..isnt hair supposed 2 fall?..yeaah..its normal 2 have like 50 hairs fall a day..

Re: herbal shampoos??

but wat should do when 200 or 300 hair fall is experienced per day???

Re: herbal shampoos??

^ horizon, you know your hair. you know what is normal or abnormal fall. if this is abnormal for you (it does sound a LOT, unless you have very thick hair), then follow the advice above for using milder shampoos. as long as you don't use harsh chemicals on the scalp, you can use whatever conditioning treatments on the length.
also look at your diet. are you eating enough protein? if one is not eating enough protein the body starves the hair first before elsewhere, the hair goes into resting mode and then finally falls out.
also think about taking some supplements for skin and hair to make sure you are taking enough iron and b vitamins that the hair also requires.

Re: herbal shampoos??

wats a good shampoo for damaged hair/split ends?

Re: herbal shampoos??

If your hair is really dry and falling out, the first thing you should do is see a doctor. It could be the sign of a medical problem such as anemia or abnormal thyroid functions.

The second thing would be, wash your hair every other day rather than every day. Make sure you use a DEEP conditioner, something really creamy. What has worked well for me is Matrix Sleek look. You can buy two huge bottles of the shampoo and conditioner at the price of one from JC Penny, or other Salons. Also try hot oil. Use olive oil or almond oil, and heat some up in bowl and massage it into your head/scalp and make sure you thoroughly cover your ends (old school desi aunti method

Lastly... I absolutely love going to the salon and getting a deep conditioning treatment also called protein treatment or chemistry treatment. What they do is condition your hair using a salon strength deep conditioner. You will feel a noticeable difference afterwards. You can also buy packets from them to take home to deep condition your hair weekly.
