herbal oils for hair..

i’ve recently started to see receding hair line… did a bit of research and came across herbal oils such as neeta’s herbal or paul&paul herbal oil… which guarantees that within 1-2 weeks of usage, hair fall will stop and usage of oil for 2/3 months is guaranteed to grow back hair and/or thicken the hair.. i then called paul&paul herbal’s and talked to one of the representative and he swore by this product and offers a full money back guarantee within 2 months if it doesnt work… i asked if theres any testimonials and he said his dad used this product and he actually got hair on bald spots.. the way he was talkin to me was really impressive and he guaranteed it’d work on anyone between the ages of 25-30.

should i give it a try?.. again, im not experiencing crazy hair loss but just enough to be worried about.. what do u guys think of herbal oils?.. shud i go for it? any personal experience with anyone here??

Re: herbal oils for hair..

I have never used any of the brands you mentioned. But FF, if you are concerned, you may want to mention this to your doctor. It may be due to some nutritional deficiency, stress, some medication, etc. A little hair loss is normal but all of a sudden substantial loss of hair can be a matter of concern.

However, if there is no underlying medical issue, then it may be worth a try. I have used olive oil, almond oil, even amla oil and they are very good for nourishment of the hair and scalp.

Re: herbal oils for hair..

FF, have you tried taking vitamin E, fish oil or biotin? I have heard all of them help.
Did you find any reviews on the hair oils you mentioned? I guess go for it and see if it works.

FrozenFire, seems like you have your work cut out, of selecting a haircare product. If you are specifically looking for just those two brands, do research on them both, as Shay mentioned above. Company representatives will hit you from all directions but get your own findings too.

FF, if it's hereditary (male pattern baldness) then there isn't a product in the world that is going to keep you from losing hair.

However whether it is hereditary or not, I do recommend taking vitamin B complex (which includes biotin). You have to take it for at least 6 weeks to see results. See if this helps.
