Shikra, nobody is supposed to ask for anybody's mughfirat, everyone is responsible for their acts, you or me praying for their forgiveness will not get them forgiven, there is no intercession, when you pray for someone's forgiveness, in essence you are telling God that "God, you've made a decision, but i'm asking you to change it", this implies that God is making an erroneous decision and thus is fallible.
So it doesn't matter whether someone is muslim or not, you asking for their forgiveness is not going to work unless they deserve forgiveness from the get go, in which case they don't need your prayers in the first place.

i am not asking Allah to change his decision nor i am saying that it'll work or not. all i am saying is that we shouldn't say even pray for their maghfirat because we are simply told not to do so.
To bad all israel will get for this is a slap-on-the-wrist inquiry,which will end up being overturned and ruled as an accident. It wont help her case in courts when pictures of her US flag burnings come up.
