cute, I sent you a link with information in a PM.
Currently there is no cure for it.
Re: Hepatitus B
HepA and HepB both are cureable. HepC, D, E, & F are not if diagnosed at later stages. Some of HepC variants have a good response to new medicines but it takes too long and side effects are too many but with a good will power one can survive.
you can find more information on www.thebody.com which is also a very authentic site. hope it helps.
Edit: A link to information on HepB treatment.

thanx alot :flower1:
Re: Re: Hepatitus B
According to my information its Hepatitis C and B which are incurable. While we have vaccine for B, we dont have for C. All other forms are treatable.

There is some treatment avialble in the form of vaccination, immunoglobulins plus some antivirals for Hep B but you are rt Hep C is still incurable.
Hep E (quite similar to Hep A) is milder as compared to Hep B & C and is treatable.
no C is curable.. i know cus my mum had it.. its like a medicine u inject every second day (but this was some 4-5 years back.. it may have changed now)
ive just read, the drug is tested on patients and if after 3 months theres no affect, they discontinue it... it does work though

thats interferon injections u inject it every alternate day with ribavirin tablets. the older treatments go for a whole year. and i heared there are som emore effective medicines available now.
thanks capri, i didnt know tht but i am sure c is still cureable in its early stages and in your early age. only problem is that you go to doctor when sypmtoms appear and at that time you were already too late. its a silent killer you may hav eit for decads with out knowing it and just slowly decay the liver. and symptom only appears when damage is in its last stages. just everyone should get a checkup fo rit and its good to know it in early stages.
best of luck
i dont think there are any symtoms... my mum didnt even know until she had a blood test done for fun..
yeah the interfron injects are great... but u need to use them for awhile ... it took almost a year and half for mum to be cured.. Alhamdulillah
