wht if a hepatitis patient give any edible (gutti) to new born?

you mean the traditional honey given as ghurti...??
nothing will happen...as long as the person just takes some from the honey bottle and gives it to the newborn...
Hepatitis is not transmissible that way...
and I know honey is not to be given to infants under 1 year of age...:)

yes^^, u r rite.but its very small amount of honey.n what if the patient chew a date then giv it to new born(as in sunnah)?

well depends upon which hepatitis virus your body is carrying.
I had hep A & E when I gave birth and I nursed my baby while I had the virus. Doctors allowed me and my daughter is fine masha allah. Considering that I nursed Ghutti is nothing and I am sure everything will be fine :)
for safe side don't chew it ....why take risk on baby's health
