Buy vaccine of Hepatitis B from a pharmacy, it will cost only 200-400 rs. Not more than 500 rs. And get it injected. Repeat this process for 2 more times with a gap of about one month.

You need three doses of the vaccine for full protection. The second dose is usually given one month after the first dose. The third dose is given five months after the second dose.

One to four months after the third dose you may need to have a blood test. Your doctor will be able to advise you if you need a blood test. This checks if you have made antibodies against the hepatitis B virus and are immune.

"Repeat this process for 2 more times with a gap of about one month" By this I meant that you have to take 2nd dose one month after the first one and the third one 1 month after the 2nd dose. This is how I had it because I needed to enter medical college.

SweetMano did u have your antibody titre checked? you should make sure that you have been immunised. your titre shd be above 100

I was wondering where do they inject I mean into the arm or thigh?
will I need any pre-vaccination blood test?
