Helpless

What should one do when he/she feels utterly helpless?

Re: Helpless

:hehe:

Ok its confirmed. You are passing indirect messages to someone.

Re: Helpless

ufff TLK....stop being so nosy.

Re: Helpless

you find a weakling and take out your frustration on him.

TLK, zara idhar padhaariye...

Re: Helpless

cry. and then analyze the situation.

Re: Helpless

First pray. Then talk to somebody you trust. Then objectively detach yourself and review the situation. Usually by this stage you are back in business. But if it persists then question your expectations - the worst sorrow comes from mismatch between expectations and accomplishment.

The first 3 steps are guaranteed to fix under-accomplishment problems.
The 4th step will help you right size unreasonable expectations.

Good luck

Re: Helpless

rolla, crying is only a reaction and it helps cope with the impact of sorrow. It does not fix the cause of the sorrow (except when you are a child and crying will make the dad/mom give you the candy:)

Re: Helpless

Pray... Divert your attention to something you can control (whatever that means to you).

Re: Helpless

Turn to Allah, :insh:

Seek help in patience and prayers!

One mistake we make when calamity strikes is that we go farther away from Allah, we stop praying, making Dua’a, etc. Rather, this is the time when we need Him more and more. Of course, we should remember Allah all the times, anyways.
