I’m in Turkey right now and I need to be back in the UK this weekend..

I stupidly booked a one-way ticket here as nothing convenient was coming up when I was looking online and now there seems to be nothing back to London till next thursday :smack:

One flight have come up but at nearly £1000 for one way economy (nomal price just over £220ish) and for late next week.. NOTHING for this weekend (how is that even possible when there are multiple flights every day??)..

Absolutely ridiculous..

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can find a ticket to get home?

Did u search all the airlines ?
Visit any good travel agency rather than searching online , that might can help u

Check travel agencies..they always have blocks of seats allocated for them....just like they have blocks of rooms for them in hotels...

Thanks for the suggestions.. No luck so far..

I have booked + flown the same day from Istanbul to London before but this time I (severely) underestimated how much difference the school holidays make..

go for stand-bye if available. does any of your relatives have extra miles on their frequent flyer program...you may have them get a 'free' ticket for you and you reimburse them in some other way. good luck!
