i think i used eyeliner today that was long past its sell-by date and now my vision is blurry and this white, gooey stuff is oozing out of my eyes periodically. help! what do i do? i washed my eyes out but its not stopping.

Ur eye might be infected!! Get it checked out tommm and they might give you something for it!!! Like drops with antibiotics in it

Hopefully it's nothing serious. Maybe your eye didnt like something in the liner and is trying to flush it out through the white stuff.

I think its "pink eye". Its going around and my daughter has it. I have used many eyeliners way past their sell by date and nothing has happened. Hopefully, its just that. See the doc.

its not pink... they're both swollen this morning. the gross leaking has stopped, thank God.

Is your vision still blurred? If your vision is blurry you need to see an Optometrist asap. A pus like discharge indicates a bacterial infection, watery discharge indicates a viral infection. It's best to just get it checked out to rule out any eye infections as these can have permanent effects on your vision.

Me too i have used eyeliner past its sell by but i make sure i sharpen mine all the time a clean the tip before every use.

I never even knew eyeliners had sell-by-dates. I've used really old ones before (like REALLY old - years) and nothing's happened to me alhamdolillah. So I really doubt it's to do with the date of the eyeliner. I'd go with the pink-eye thing people are saying, or something else, but unrelated to the eyeliner. Hope it gets better :)
