It's entirely up to you and what kind of registry you are having.

For colours brides usually go with white, off-white, cream etc.

Some people have a very small event with only both immediate families so feel more comfortable wearing a semi fancy shalwar kameez or a simple dress.
Some brides choose to wear a western bridal dress. Others wear a lengha or sari or any other Asian style outfit in the colours I mentioned. Some choose to go for a fusion look.

Go for what you like the thought of wearing!
