Re: help

now visualizing this is more funnier than the original post:hehe:

Re: help

AQ - since it is a rental - it is not rocket science and those cars have a lot of different keys made. Stopp laughing at an old woman who has done this a million times with other locks and stop laughing at Ravage who needs our help hmph

Ravage - babes - call the place you rented it from and ask for help there, HERE we are ALL blind glaring at AQ

nm - see??? all better now, lol, just don't drive it - problem solved, lol

...... have some tea :)

Re: help

Uh oh looks like i’m too late…I was going to say exactly that. :snooty:

Re: help

ravage kaka, why didnt you call the rental place first for advice? Did you rent it from near LAX?
google kar lo gull!

Re: help

the rental place was closed, it was 7 and they close at 6, altho the airport option didnt occur to me at the time :o

Re: help

make a mental note for future, always rent the car from those LAX places, they are open 24 hrs and you will get pretty decent rates as well :P

Re: help

call AAA ppl they will sure help u

Re: help

Even though the problem has already been solved ravage and i am happy for you, i cant help but wonder..

If you have a remote locking mechanism, and if in this scenario the key wont come out, do you really need the key to come out? I mean just leave it in there when youre not driving the car and use the remote lock to get in and out. When its time to return the car just take it back to the rental place and let them to deal with their key car et al.

Why sweat brotha.

Re: help

5abs im only renting this cause my own car got tonked and this is being paid for by the other guy's insurance company. what do i care how much it costs :o

Re: help

prelude, thanku for calling me a brotha. i am indeed the epitome of nigga-dom, and can speak the lingo unlike most of my fellow pakistani crackers.

im not sure if my insurance covered a stolen car, particularly a case where the key was actually in the ignition.

i dont trust these alarm locks very much.

Re: help

you should have called the rental office the first thing.

i went to the beach with some friends late at night. i did not take the keys out of the ignition. they never used to lock their doors so i locked mine ASSUMING they would leave their doors opened as usual. but that day they unusually locked theirs too. after returning from the beach tired and all, we were standing outside the car with no keys :mash:

we called the police. and ran to the main road to jump and wave them that it was us. they arrived after sometime. they sent two handsome arabs to our rescue. these girls started flirting with those guys. then we went to the car. they opened it for us with no charge
