help!!!!!

my children have so many things which come in the category of clutter…(well, i’m not allowed to say that …but still)

i mean, there is sooooo much of ‘art work’ ,.‘3 D-models’…'etc. etc. n the worst is , i’m not allowed to throw it

i appreciate their interest…i’m glad they r creative …but there should be at least some kind of recycling going on…

whenever i want to talk about it …it ends with teary eyes n what not…

what’s the best possible way to declutter…???while i don’t want to lie or anything

please help…!!!

:flower2:

Re: help!!!

art work …stick it on the walls…put it all on display :rotfl:

Re: help!!!!!

Tell them the art goes or the kids, one or the other.....

Teasing, but just say it is going into storage to make room for other things they will create I guess. This is a toughie. Good luck.

Re: help!!!!!

Take digital photos of the works and then "donate" the art pieces.

Re: help!!!!!

Perhaps you could take a picture of the bulkier items and keep the pictures as a memory instead.

Re: help!!!!!

Say that mommy is storing them in the attic and will take them out when they are old enough to go to college so they can take it with them to the dorms :D

I little lying like I'm "storing" (read throwing) them away doesn't hurt.

Re: help!!!!!

put the best pieces in a scrap book and write the dates and what the picture is of (sometimes it hard to tell) if you can take picture of 3d models if you dont want to keep it and add to the scrap book, throw the rest away.

Make up a scrap book for each year, with the little stories the write, pictures, thoughts funny things they've said, pictures theyve taken, etc.

Re: help!!!!!

I forgot to add

get the kids to help, (unless they are very attached to their creation) they can tell you what they want in the book and what they dont.
