ok… relax..

do u brush ur curls? i think curls are best.. but if u wanna straighten them… dont get them chemically straightened, cus after awhile it goes all frizzy.. and if u have realllly curly hair then yeah i dont think its a good idea..

u should get a straightener… they cost about $180AUS… thats the MUSTER.. its the best one on the market.. the NOVA is pretty good too… lekin for extra curly hair.. id go for MUSTER.. (ive got two of them!!)..

what else… hmm ir eckon curls are the best (if looked after properly)

want me to give u advice bout them too??? heeh

hey cutepie i love curly hair...why do u wanna straighten ur curls?

I'm on the waiting list to get my hair Yuko'd, but I'm not sure its available in pakistan. I suggest you get yourself a pair of ceramic hair straighteners......they are the best thing since sliced bread and leave your hair silky smooth but try not to use them all the time.

sadzzz : well i dunn like curly hairs …wheen i was a kid i hate them …phir after somtime i feel like no theyr’nt tht bad …bud now i again start hating them …sigh .

ok thanx i ll try the straightner i think

irem : i explained it above .

shahreen : thanx for the advice :flower1: …well i ll not use the straightner regularly …but just like tht …i just wanna see how do i look with straight hairs

at the end thanx everybody for advices

Forgot to say - if you are going to get the ceramic hair straighteners then definetely get the GHD ones, the are the best ones around and worth every penny.

I have got curly hairs and I like them the way they are. I don't plan on doing anything with them and I'll suggest the same to you as well.

Iremember as kid, my hairs were more curly then they are now. so all my friends used to tease me a lot. I still remember those days...used to hate my hairs and myself like hell! :-/

u remind me of my bachpana :crying:

cruel friends…

Try straight plates by Conair ... this is what I use. There are many other models on the Conair website .... www.conair.com.

  • Gentle Steam Action Adds Moisture to Hair While Straightening
  • Fast Heat up
  • Removable Teeth ý Pull Hair Extra Taut
  • Relaxes All Hair Types ý Even Hard to Straighten Hair
  • Dual Voltage
  • Indicator Light
  • 6 Foot Cord
  • UL Listed
  • One Year Limited Warranty

It's very easy to use. What I normally do is wash my hair and add some Straightening lotion by John Frieda into my hair. I either blow dry it (on 'low' or else it can frizz) or let it dry naturally. Then, I just use the straight plates on it .... important to remember to start from the root down.

Lately, however, I've been leaving my hair naturally wavy. It is time consuming to straighten hair and I simply cannot be bothered any more.

mehnaz, these look like they have metal plates, have you tried the hair straightners with the ceramic plates? At the risk of sounding like some obsessed woman, they really are fantastic.

They are metal plates and work wonderfully with my hair. There are actually other models that are also metal plates but are able to add shine to the hair. They use those at the salons. I've never tried or even seen ceramic plates. I'm sure they must work brilliantly but cost an arm and leg. This one that I use costs about $35 and has lasted me about 4 years so far. It's definitely worth the investment and doesn't really take that long to straighten (depending on hair length of course).

I thought curly hair was in. Well maybe artifical curls...
Have seen a few ladies with long hair and curls in them... They looked nice

Curly, or wavy hair is in. But sometimes its nice to have a change and see how the other half live.
