Thanks with the post Silsila, It's extremely helpful and I will visit think pink for sure. I am not really sticking to just this kinda dress, I am open to anything that will suit me lol. I'm already having a hard time choosing cuz i like too many dresses... but its hard to come to come to just one dress,,,,,I wont be handing over my money to just about anyone and i dont think so i'm going to have it made or custom made or anything like that as I wont really have much time. Maybe 2 weeks max! By the way did you happen to see anything like the wedding outfit i posted in any of the shops you visited including think pink???
P.s, dont go with anything in ur mind, as it will make it a bad experience as u may not find it, go with an open mind! Plus if u have an idea, most places will try and con u into placing an order into making one for u, and once u have handed ur money over, u dont know what it will come out as, they can be really arsy in some places

did they have any dresses like the one i posted in stock at think pink? or were they all different one's??? Also did they allow you to try them on and help you fix the dress and duppatta for you??? cuz i dont know how to wear those big things or try those big huge dresses on I dont want to fall over, cuz i'm pretty small?? I would need help with that.............. I hope their nice people. I think I would go with what they have in stalk.......

only designer boutiques spend time with u trying on all the outfits with duppata etc, i went to maria b and tried them all on 3 times each and they never seemed to mind, think pink wouldnt allow me to try on the walima one when i ordered it, other fashion houses there weren't keen on asking me to try them on either............but u may have different experience. u need to think about how much u wana spend, as something like that non designer from liberty market u looking at over 1 lakh, saw something similar in ali's bridal gallery for 1 lakh 50, and i thought u might as well go to a designer for that price and ensure everything is tailor made to ur fit, as designers make prototypes before they go ahead with the order

my walima lengha has very little kaam on it and was on for 75, haggled to 50, depends how much work u are looking for , heavy ones at libert were over 1 lakh mark, but u could haggle though x

u can try it on once ur order comes through to check if it fits but not before u place it, but they may allow u to, they didnt ask me though...........x

if ur small, try and get a lengha one colour with another colour on the 'piping, edges of lengha, dont get ur top one colour and skirt another, it makes u look even smaller, thats coming from a small girl tooooooooooo

heyy ajnabee50.... uve chooosed naveeda but i be honest she not dat friendlyyyy she got a shop of hers in gants hill near where i work n i poped in der for a mate n she was lykkk rudeee even the way she spokee.... bestttttttttttttttttttttttttt one is joshivv seriousss she gives u da model lukkk propaa but she is expensive thoo... fariahhh is also veryyy guddd but its hard to get hold of herrr.... laikin i would say to go get trials donee thats best way to see who is gona offer u da style you want in makeup.. but bear in mind they only do half ur face i mean halff man like mirror line but still you will be able to see if you like the makeup done or not before you actually book....
Yeah Maham, I think so that I will end up liking may be something totally different and falling in love with another dress. How do I get the exact matching purse with it? do the boutiques do that as well? or do you have to look somewhere else for the purse, and also this goes with jewelery, will they be giving me a sample of the fabric of my dress so that i can take it with me so i can matching jewelery with it???
Anytime yaar :)...Well both these places will be ready to make something like this dress for you. Now, like i said before i can't say which one will be the better option to go for. But i am sure if you visit them personally you will be able to tell which shop you would wanna go with...in terms of whoever understand better what you want for your dress.
Another thing, though this dress you posted is fine (i m nt liking the colors though) but you might end up liking things they have in their shop better than this so don't stress too much on getting this exact thing made.

I'm convinced this a Bunto Kazmi outfit by looking at the delicacy of the kaam and the colour combo. Someone has just started a thread about her so take a look there as well.
She's based in Karachi, however her contact details can be found on the web and you could email her the picture - I found a similar outfit and called her. She was really kind on the phone and very helpful...
once u have placed ur order, ask them to make the purse asap so u can pick it up and get ur jewellery matched, maria b and think pink did that for me xxx
i really love the matching jewerly its not TOO matchy matchy but works really well with the outfit, so traditional and HOT. loving it. i think its a bunto kazmi outfit (the lengha looks really bunto kazmi ) the kameez kind of doesn't look like bunto kazmi but i thin kit is a bunto kazmi outfit

I don't think Bunto would do that shirt. But maybe I'm saying that because I don't like the shirt.
The kaam on the sharara is very similar to the kaam on my wedding gharara. That was not Bunto Kazmi, but another Karachi-based designer. I'm not sure it's definitely Bunto, but there is a similar look.
i think its too modern looking for bunto kazmi... i dont think its one of hers... she usually does farshi's and traditional ghararas, and not so much the ones with trains.
