Hi guys, I’m a quiet member. Kind of newish but love discussions on here. My little sis is getting married next year after Ramzaan with her engagement this December. Two questions: what are latest bridal trends? And more importantly here in London I love keeping an eye on what comes out of Lahore/Islamabad first. So it seems short fitted shirts and churidaar pajama is in? What else? I’m in charge of sorting out the clothes for everyone! So some help on what’s going on in Lahore/Islamabad would be excellent…and some predictions for trends lasting into 2013…sorry if this is a repeat question…

Looking at some of the pics in the bazaar forum, I don't think short shirts are back yet.

There are a few people in London that have said the shorter shirts are making their way back but it will take a while before they become widely adopted. Same thing happened with long shirts. Although long kameezes are flattering so that trend caught on pretty well.

Short shirts are not in as of yet.. However a few fashion shows as of recent have shown them as an upcoming trend. The good news is that this change in trend wont take place too drastically, slowly and gradually it might take a turn. Churidars are still in when it comes to formals, as for casuals go a few inches shorter with your kameez to pair it up with palazzo pants. Shalwars too MIGHT make a comeback soon. :)
