Help with sleeves

My husband brought me some suits from Pakistan a few months ago…I’m planning ot wear these on Eid/after-Eid stuff.

These are all sleeveless but come with sleeves, just have to be stitched on. I’m having a hard time picturing what length of sleeves to keep. I feel like half sleeves will ruin the look of it, I’m OK with long sleeves, but I rarely wear them so I dont know if they’ll look nice or not.

The sleeves on this one are the offwhite/blue tye dye

here the sleeves are hte color of that middle panel (an off white/light yellowish color) but completely plain, no embroidery, with a dark blue ribbon at the end of the sleeve.

The sleeves on this are the same as the rest of the jora (olive green).

Re: Help with sleeves

3/4th length looks decent. Nice suits Sara.

Re: Help with sleeves

i think long sleeves will look nice. you can always make them shorter if it doesnt suit you later :)

Re: Help with sleeves

I would definately do long sleeves on the first one and get them to make like a cuff on the end of it, to tie it all together.

For the last two - you can do 3/4 if you want. I think the 2nd one would look fine with even half sleeves, you could go with full sleeves on the last one as well.

Re: Help with sleeves

Nice dresses, MA. I personally like three quarter length sleeves even though someone who sells clothes was insisting that it's either sleeveless or full length that is trendy now. Congrats it seems you have lost weight too by the size of the joras.

@Sara516 don't you care put short sleeves on them. It will make them look so dated. Either so caps... Three quarter or full. No short sleeves larki!!!
