Help with Skirt

Ok I am seriously clothing challenged.

I have this navy blue pinstripe pencil skirt which I haven’t worn yet. It hits my knee and I think it is supposed to be highwaisted - but I can’t tell when I put it on!!

I need help as follows:

  1. Should I be tucking my shirt in? (It is a white collar short sleeved shirt) Would it look bad if I left it out? I hate tucking my shirt in - I feel it looks weird on my big butt and it sometimes gets all bunched up and wrinkly in the back!)

  2. What colour of tights/nylons should I be wearing?

  3. Would black shoes go with it? Could I wear red shoes with it or would it look dumb?

Thanks everyone

Re: Help with Skirt

1- tucked in would look better
2-nylons- skin?
3-red shoes will look good. wear some red accessory too. though i think the shoes would look good even w/o a red accessory.

Re: Help with Skirt

Or, maybes you could not tuck the shirt in and wack a patent belt around your waist, big or small doesnt matter, not your waist...the belt!

And any colour shoes go with everything! Agree with Femme to have a subtle red accessory, maybes a braclet or earings, or handbag, but I dont really think it matters all that much, as long as the shoes are hot your all good. Oooo maybes wear red lipstick!!!

ok, now I need a visual...

Actually, the patent belt will only work if the shirt is slighty longer, like to your hips. My explaination is naff but im sure you get it.

Re: Help with Skirt

for tucked in try the body suits…problem solved:)
