I need help. I have a family person getting married in toronto in december. I need to help her organise the wedding stuff. Tell me which is the better/decent wedding hall and where to cater good paki food etc. I need to know all! Mehendi person, make person etc.

My devar had his wedding at Candle banquet hall on all three days..it was a nice hall, alot nicer than ours (sangam) for sure and the food was great.. I loved their decorations as well, i dont know hwo the decorator was but i can find out..
as for mehndi, you can't go wrong with dimple shah..she might charge alot but she is worth every single penny. I wouldn't recommend anyone other htan her for bridal mehndi.
I had my makeup from dimple as well and I liked her work, but there's a few other good ones... Shirley Wu, Saba Malik, and Xpressions are some of the ones off the top of my head....

i had my mehendi at maple banquet hall in mississauga. loved it! the decor was done by this indian lady, midhu verma- she took $500 for the stage and decor and it was FAB! i got so many compliments. the food is also excellent at maple.
i second what sara says about dimple shah to do the mehendi. she did me and my whole bridal party plus moms and aunts and she was so quick and her work was AMAZING. when you go see her, she has a big book of designs you can choose from. she charged $120 for my bridal mehendi, everyone else paid according to their design. shes very nice too which helps. but book her fast because she’s always busy. www.thetouchofdimples.com
zebi did my makeup. she’s in scarborough. we get our offical pics soon so i’ll post close-ups of my face on mehendi and shaadi days and you can take a look at her work and see if you like it. didnt we used to have a bridal makeup thread around here? where’d it go?

replace the “dots” with periods and its all good- i just dont want to link her here and then she ends up getting 5000 junk mail messages.
my clothes i got done by this lady called abida in markham. she has a lot of readymade stuff too so if you’re family person (assuming its a female) doesn’t have a mehendi jora, she could check in with her. and since its in december and its october now, she might even be able to make you whatever you want. i’ve got pics of my mehendi outfit up in the “why don’t people wear makeup on their mehendi” thread so you could take a look if you want. PM for her number.
