I personally know this family so I can vouch that this is not a scam. Madeeha, a 20 year old Pakistani girl, diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy, is fighting a battle for her life. Her only chance of survival is a heart transplant the quoted expense for which is $150,000. So far $28,053.64 has been gathered leaving us with $121946.36 that needs to be collected. Her condition is critical so the sooner we are able to meet our goal the higher the chances of madeeha’s recovery and survival.
Since you know the family personally, please let them know to be very careful with Paypal. Paypal has been known to hold funds originally intended for charitable causes because their rules for such are very strict. a very well known website collected 15,000 dollars for Hurricane Katrina relief and paypal refunded all of that to the people who donated because that site did not qualify for such funds according to paypal

Yes, its all real, an acquintance of mine knows them. The best way is to send money though personal checks to (as im unsure if paypal deducts a fee on charitable money or not), thats how we did it. Also, if you have contacts in any tv stations/radio stations, urge them to cover her story, it really helps as when they got NBC to do it, thats when they got alot of money. If you guys are involved with your local PSA/MSA's, you can also do a small fund raiser, or just dedicate a section in your semester/annual event and pass around a donation box or something. Yes spock the quote now is $500,000.00 which includes the actual expense for the transplant and transplant aftercare. I believe the $150,000.00 was only to get her on the waiting list for a transplant and whatever costs they may incur till the actual transplant takes care. I did go to visit madeeha, she was also suffering pneumonia and was very weak. I hope her family is able to get her heart transplanted soon.
