I’m posting this for all photographers of Islamabad/Pindi & Pakistan. I didn’t know which category this fits into but request to mods is to let it stay here so that as many photographers can join in as it is for a good cause! All of you intrested in being volunteers are also welcome to join.
Help Portraits was started by Jeremy Cowart a famous fashion/humanitarian photographer in LA. 54 countries & 100,000 pictures .In two days. And when I signed up i searched & searched but Pakistan wasn’t on there.So I decided we needed to be represented & this is great timing because this year Help Portrait actually allows people to tell their stories.Let our voices be heard.Globally.
How it works
Find someone in need.
Take their picture
Print.
Deliver them.
Yep that easy.So everyone who wants to join in & be part of the Islamabad Chapter as a volunteer/photographer please do!We need lots of help in organizing /planning and putting on an event of such magnitude. I would love to see this spread to Lahore/Karachi and other cities of Pakistan as well.
