Hi Everyone
I will be forever in debt to the person who can get me a recipe for SHAKAR PARAY…my Daadi used to make them when i was a kid…
and unfortunately she is no longer with us…and I cant find anyone else who know the recipe (most people havent even heard of them)…so plzzzzzzzzz help me!

tell us more about the dish ... maybe it has another name too ( one dish can have more then one name) ... like is it a sweet dish .. salty one ... etc ...

its kind of like little cream coloured cake pieces coated in sheera...(sweet dish)...if u are in Canada they are kind of like TimBits...I think they are made kind of like gulab jaman but they are dry...no dripping sheera...its just like a small peice of a sugar coated doughnut.

i think its maida ghee aur shakar mila ker ata ghoondna, n make out lil rotiya, an cut 1 inch stripes diagonally criss crssing each other (looks liek lil diamond shape, and fry them.
hmm .... sort of like mithai .. i don't know .. maybe some other guppies might know more about it ... sorry ...

I think those are Namak paray?! cuz usually at the mithai shop the namak paray are diamond shape...thanks though!
But ‘nemak parays’ are namkeen not sweet.. right?!?!
