Help please! ~ Colorama by Sam Jamasji

Could someone tell me if Sam Jamasji, the photographer, is any good? His website is not in great working order, and I’d like to hear what people’s experiences with him were like. As soon as possible please!

Re: Help please!

Anyone? Pretty please?

Re: Help please!

I was about to post a picture I found in the bridal pics thread but it turns out you had posted that so I’m sure you dont wanna see that, lol

BUT I did run a quick google search and there’s a member on GS who got her photo’s done by Sam Jamasji. You should PM her: http://www.paklinks.com/gs/members/sanomer.html

But isn't anymore? What went wrong?

Re: Help please! ~ Colorama by Sam Jamasji

I don't know. Maybe, there is lack of publicity and the work is still good. Maybe, the photojournalism took the scene by storm. The thing is, I always heard good things about them and stopped hearing anything at all.

Ah. Update though. Heard from the GS member, who said she loved his work, but it's better to go for "digital rather than non-digital". :)

Not sure where these were taken by ‘Sam Jamasji’ or not but it is a very strong possibility.

They were. He's pretty good, I ended up going with him. He didn't bug me as much as my previous photographer did....

That’s great to know, Greys! :biggthumb: Can you kindly write a review her regarding his services?

Of course.

So we were actually going to go with our previous photographer, but thank God, something came up and he ended up having to cover some official event. Sam contacted us himself since we booked PC for my rukhsati, and he's a very very good salesman. He tried his best to accomodate our budget, and gave us a pretty good deal. On the actual day, he himself took my portrait shots, and he really made me feel at ease. He had me try out alot of different poses, even though I found half of them ludicrous, but he said we could delete them later. Surprise surprise, some of them turned out rather nice! :)

Other than that, his event coverage photographer was also a very nice, polite man. He wasn't in our faces at all, and wasn't bossy. He took some nice pictures too.

The album was made exactly the way I wanted it, so I'm quite pleased about that.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience, but Sam's is not the person for you if you want a photojournalistic approach (that I was originally hankering over, and eventually had for my valima). He does very traditional wedding photography.
