A kind (read farigh) well-wisher who believes that the solution to all my life’s problems lies in the smoothies she recommends, has been on my case trying to make a believer out of me. When a rice crisis is boiling in South Asia and 16000 children are dying from hunger everyday, I am being harassed to buy this blender for four hundred bucks!!!

She has stuffed herself in my mail box (figuratively ofcourse), spammed my inbox and monopolized my phone. There is just no way out of this one. SO brothers and sisters with a conscience, do the right thing and help out this muslim brother in finding a cheaper yet effective blender. Motivated by my store credit at bed bath and beyond I have found the following blenders which look interesting. If you have a better suggestion please feel free. Also if you have tried and tested recipes for healthy smoothies kindly share. You will be rewarded by the moderators of this wonderful forum.

Geek if she is that concerned just tell her to make them for you Please stop showing off about how a female is all over u and ur various boxes and phone! Look at it this way, if you buy that blender you can make smoothies and send them to the 1600 people dying of hunger.
