Help on my little one...

hepatitis injection in pak for babies- my doc said its neccessary. however my daughter is now going with me to uk in oct, for 6months min, so shall i stick get it done on her now, or wait til after, and how serious is the concern here, it seems immuniation injections here are needed and its ALOT…i dn want her getting millions of injections for no reason, and people here in pak are soooo inconsistent, no one knows anything solid, its all `well i think this and i think that, no real info.

secondly- since she sbeen here, shes gotten kamzoor, she was mashallah a very healthy chubby baby at 6monhs, now at 10months although shes still a good weight mashallah, shes not chubby anymore, its the heat, making her stop drinking her milk much, what can i do or feed her?

AND THIRDLY- my inalws think its ok to give her masala wala stuff, she even has tastes of dhai balley pakorey etc, and i dont like it. she has a stomach ache now yet theyl say oh its her teething,it may well be, but i dnt think so. can masala do any harm to someone so young?

Re: Help on my little one...

hep B is no harm

for pakoray=they have besan and soda in them..and they can even cause stomach ache to elders !

Re: Help on my little one...

I was going to say the same thing. The soda causes the stomach ache in most people.

Re: Help on my little one...

step up to your in-laws and tell them she's not allowed to have dahi bara's and other stuff. YOU are her mother, YOU decide what she eats. if other people don't like it, too bad for them, especially if its having a negative impact on her health.

Re: Help on my little one...

  1. those sound like pretty standard vaccinations. go ahead and go for them, but if you have a family pediatrician in the UK just call and ask them what they recommend.

  2. once babies are walking and crawling more regularly, they do slim down. but until she is a year old, her milk is a priority. be creative in getting her to have it. you have to be persistent and keep at it.

  3. the food issue will always be there. you need to be CONSTANTLY monitoring her and saying yes or no about food. If you're leaving her unattended with them, expect that they won't follow your rules. even my parents and inlaws used to drive me crazy with this issue.
