guys how do i block a freind’s messages wihtout blocking the friend or removing them from my firend list ? ..

If that person is really a 'friend' you'd be talking to him/her about it and not here.

Are these messages or wall posts?

If these are wall posts, two options appear when you click "cross"(X) to his post,

(1) Hide this post
(2) Hide all posts by

If these are private messages, then the "remove" option is also there.

If these are comments on your status, then also you can remove that comment.

You always have tons of options in FB, just the matter of how you handle it..

thanks sid .. n im talkin about private mssgs .. so if i press remove on that private mssg .. i wont get nay more msgs from that friend ? ..

No No, you'll get the future messages. Like, they have given this option on the wall posts but not yet in the private messages. The only way out is to block that person which you just said you dont want.

You have to click the Facebook gnome in the lower left hand side
