Re: help oily hair

Re: help oily hair

i use head and shoulders the citrus one thats for oily hair but that has made no difference :(

Re: help oily hair

Miss Khan it could be that ur washing ur hair far too often if ur hairs getting oily.......try using your normal hair conditioner - a dab with a little vinegar- and massage onto dry hair BEFORE u wash it..... the vinegar strips out the oil and the conditioner works as normal to restore the hair- then using a little shampoo, wash as normal.......u should notice a difference after a while.... alternatively try to invest some "real" shampoo that isnt off a shelve in Tescos or Asdas- try makes like Tresemme , Kerastase, Austrailian Body care......Im sure you 'll have a lot of advice but it sounds like youre suffering from over producing sebacaeous glands...Good luck x

Re: help oily hair

i've a very effective remedy which i can tell u but i dun think u can buy that anymore in stores. if u've access to a village back home u may get it easily there. its called multani miTTi [also known as chikni miTTi] with reeThaa [a kind a dried fruit]...its perfect natural remedy.

Re: help oily hair

My hair is super oily, I use Body shop's nettle oil balance shampoo and condition with Loreal's conditioner..... my hair's fine for 2-3 days.

Re: help oily hair

Kerastase i tried this shampoo and treseme but my hair didnt like them!!!!

*i just hate the feeling of having to wash my hair but if i cant for some reason it gets oily and i feel yuk with it!!! *

*multani mitti hmm i might ask my aunt to send me it from pakistan so how would i use it> *

ohh hun well at least u tried them....have u tried seeing a trichologist ??? They would be able to diagnose your issue with your scalp and hair.......take care ..

Re: help oily hair

mizz khan try using a shampoo called Stieprox its a good solution hun

Re: help oily hair

Stieprox is a medicated shampoo and is actually a treatment for dry scalp/dandruff. My devar was prescribed this shampoo as he was losing hair and has very oily hair, resulting from overdry scalp and very bad dandruff..... best to consult a doctor/dermatologist before using that.

If u're hair gets oily a day after washing, dilute a little mild shampoo such as baby shampoo with water and rinse u're hair.

Buy shampoo's for 'oily' hair.. avoid the creamy shampoo's and select from the clear/transparent variety.

Re: help oily hair

Is steiprox Rx only? i haven't heard of it nor seen it in any store
